About Me
I am a native of Warren Pennsylvania a small town in the northwest corner of the state. In 2003 I packed up everything and moved to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I have recently moved again to Raleigh. I am a self-taught photographer and focus mainly on, but not limited to, nature, landscapes, and historical architecture. Growing up in a National Forest and now living next to a National Seashore has given me an appreciation of the outdoors, its diversity, and how important it is we preserve these areas. My main area of work is done in the Mid-Atlantic States with some in the North East as well.

As you can see most of my gear is entry level. You can still get great shots out of this equipment without needing to spend the money. Of course, I would love to have better cameras and lenses but, I hope you can see that it isn’t necessary.
I also don’t use Photoshop; I don’t even own a copy of it. Any color correction, cropping, or sharpening for the web uses the standard software supplied with the camera. I do not add or delete any elements of the images and do not create them in the computer.
